Oda Yurakusai ・ Nagamasu (, younger brother of Oda Nobunaga, 1547 ~ 1621 ) served Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu and lived through a period of warfare, but he also deeply loved the tea ceremony. His aesthetic sense is still alive and considered normative in modern tea ceremonies, including the national treasure "Nyoan" tea house he built in Shodenin, the pagoda of Kenninji temple in Kyoto ・. On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the death of Oda Yurakusai, this exhibition introduces the temple treasures of Shoden Eigenin, a temple ・ associated with Yurakusai, and also explores his rare personality through masterpieces of tea utensils and letters related to him.
